It was a cool, blustery sunrise session at Emerson Fields for Gage and Riley. We dodged rain showers, watched rainbows come and go, and captured some amazing photos! I know we say it all the time, but Hillary and I really do love sunrise sessions. Especially in early fall when the leaves are just starting to change, and the breeze is cool but still comfortable.
We met Gage and Riley right as the sun was peeking up just beyond the trees. As we made our way around the beautiful grounds of Emerson Fields, we were treated to the warm glow of golden hour. Gage and Riley were perfect in front of the camera as they melted easily into each other’s arms providing such natural photos!
Gage and Riley have spent most of their courtship as a long distance relationship. Gage works in agriculture in Iowa just north of the Missouri line and Riley works in children’s education. They would meet each other as often as they could spending weekends with one another and enjoying time together. When we asked what they like to do together, their response was one we love to hear! Instead of always filling their time with crazy plans or parties, they would usually rather just stay home and enjoy some peaceful time together. Both Gage and Riley have a passion for art and love spending time painting large murals. We’re talking large, “side-of-the-barn” murals which I think is just so cool!
Gage & Riley, thank you so much for asking us to be part of your day. You two are so perfect for each other and we love seeing your adoration for one another! Your wedding is going to be so much fun and we are so excited to hang out with you all again next year! We hope you enjoy your sneak peek while we finish up your full gallery!
