Sunrise Engagement at Meramec Springs Park

A chilly frost lay over the park grounds at Meramec Springs early on Sunday morning.  As the sun peeked over the horizon, rays of light brought the fields to life with the beautiful sparkle of frost covered grass. We made our way to an open field with Andrew and Emily for their sunrise session. The 30 degree temperature made it brisk out, but the love these two had for each other quickly drowned out the cold. As they stood wrapped up in each other’s arms, we marveled at the connection they obviously had and how great an adventure they were getting ready to embark on.

Andrew and Emily met in Columbia, MO at a Mizzou football game. Emily had come to visit friends and Andrew immediately noticed the beautiful new girl. There was no hesitation as he made his way to introduce himself. That first introduction turned into a friendship that progressed to where they are today. Deeply in love and so excited for their life to start as husband and wife.

These two are absolutely perfect together. Their engagement session was beautiful and fun, despite the freezing temps! These two were up for anything at all and never complained about the cold. Their session was so much fun, that after we left, Grant remarked, “I could’ve kept photographing them all day! I didn’t want to leave!”  And I have to agree with him. So, Andrew and Emily, I hope you all had as good of a time as we did! We are so excited for the two of you!!! You guys are simply amazing and we loved spending time with you! We can’t wait till your wedding and to celebrate your marriage!! Enjoy your preview of your beautiful sunrise session! 🙂
