Portrait Session with Kayla

Four months ago, she walked across the stage and obtained her diploma. A major in Music Performance. She had completed 5 years of hard work. The endless nights of writing papers, studying and practicing were over. She had done it. She had completed an intense couple years. The thrill and happiness of finally being finished were there. She could now relax and enjoy life as a newly married wife. She would now be able to put into practice what she learned all those years. Teaching children and adults how to play the violin. Bringing her love for playing and passing it on to a new generation. The impact that she can have on their young lives that will forever change them.

Kayla is not only beautiful, but she’s fun and has an amazing personality. She not only loves people, but loves investing in their lives. She is an encourager, but also can just sit and listen. She’s truly a rare jewel that God has indeed blessed. So thankful that I can call her my sister and friend.

Our session was cooler and cloudier than we had planned. The field was wet with dew as we hiked out. Kayla carrying her case and holding her dress up. Our feet wet from the dew. The laughter carrying through the fields as we got set up and captured those images. Despite the goosebumps and wind, Kayla did amazing. She moved with ease throughout the session as if she had her pictures taken all the time. We ended the session by taking a trip to town and getting coffee together. She may not live around here, but love the time I get to spend with her and catch up on life.

Kayla, I love you so very much! I hope you enjoy your preview and I look forward to many more pictures in the future! And many more coffee dates as well. 🙂
