Mike & Taylor | An Intimate Summer Wedding

An intimate summer wedding was Mike & Taylor’s wish as they celebrated the start of their grandest adventure together. Surrounded by close family and friends the two joined hands inside an open roof church built in the early 1900’s. As I  walked into the church, I could feel the history. I thought about how many weddings had been celebrated between these walls in the one hundred years they had been standing, and the richness of love felt beneath the towering steeple. I can only imagine those days, but one wedding I don’t have to imagine is Mike and Taylor’s, for their love could be felt in the air, seen in their never ending smiles and spread to everyone who walked through the church doors on that gorgeous August evening.

Mike & Taylor first met when they were working for the same company, but they really only knew each other distantly. A year later, Taylor was working on a project and needed a specialty tool to complete it. Reaching out to her friends on social media, she inquired if anyone could lend her the tool. Mike was more than ready to offer his assistance. When she returned it, she asked if she could pay him anything. Mike only asked that she have lunch with him. Thinking they really didn’t know each other that well, she turned him down. Persistence on Mike’s part paid off though, and he did end up getting a lunch date. They were inseparable from that moment on.

As I went back through their photos, I couldn’t help but see the happiness and love radiating from these two. Taylor’s face would light up every time she looked at Mike and I think you’ll see what I mean when you look at their photos. There’s no prompting or posing that can create a love or smiles as genuine as these two had when they looked at each other.

Mike & Taylor, we hope you enjoy your summer wedding preview!! We loved spending the day with you both and are so excited for your new life together! I hope these photos will be a sweet reminder of the day you vowed forever together and that you will always look at each other this same way!
