There’s nothing quite like starting off our 2022 wedding season with a spring, Forest Park engagement session at sunset! Especially when it’s an incredibly fun couple who are crazy-in-love and had us cracking up the entire time! At one point during the session, I commented to Kristen about how much I loved her hair, and without even really cracking a smile, she said, “Oh thanks, it’s homemade!” You guys, that cracked me up! 😀 I just love when engagement sessions go so well that you feel like you’re immediately friends even though it’s the first time you’ve ever met someone in person! And that’s how the whole session went with lots of laughter and chatting as if we’d known each other the whole time! Also, these two have never had professional photos together and I think they just crushed it!
These two first met through a dating site, but quickly found out that they had grown up 5 minutes away from each other! Their paths had probably crossed multiple times as Matt played on the same soccer team as Kristen’s brother and she was at nearly every practice. I love how even years later their paths crossed again and it just shows how amazing God is at bringing two people together! These two are planning a November wedding at the Whitmoor Country Club and I already know it’s going to be a gorgeous celebration, and a whole lot of fun!
Matt and Kristen, we absolutely loved spending our Saturday evening hanging out with you two! Thank you for making us laugh so much and for just being so great to be around! We hope you loved your engagement session at Forest Park and that these photos will be a sweet way of remembering this amazing season! We can’t wait to celebrate you two in November!!
