Kabekona Hills | Wedding Styled Shoot

I had contacted my sister last fall asking how she felt about dressing back up in a wedding gown and doing a wedding styled shoot with us. She was thrilled with the idea, which grew from a small scaled shoot to involving multiple vendors and using a beautiful venue. I had visited Kabekona Hills before and loved the place! The grounds are perfect for a small outside wedding complete with a large lake in the background. Multiple trees shade the area creating a beautiful spot for portraits. We decided on May so that the trees would be in full bloom, and it was so gorgeous! I highly recommend checking out the place if you have a wedding in your future!

Kayla and her husband, Josh were our models for the shoot and I couldn’t have asked for a more in love couple! They celebrate one year of marriage in July. Once you view their pictures, I think you’ll agree that one year looks incredible on them! Weddings fly by so quickly and there’s just something thrilling about being able to dress back up and reminisce of the day you said “I do” to the one you love. Whether it’s your first year of marriage or thirtieth, I can’t stress enough with how important it is to get those pictures! It’s something you will never regret doing! Ladies, lets just be honest, who doesn’t love getting dressed up and getting romantic pictures with their husband. The guy’s may not be thrilled at first, but looking at those pictures with their love, I guarantee they change their mind! 🙂

I can’t thank the vendors enough for all that they contributed to this styled shoot. Honestly, I’m in complete awe over how eager and willing they were to give of their talents. These people are amazing and I can’t tell you how great it was to work with them and to showcase their work! We worked with several local vendors, but also had several from St. Louis, Springfield and Columbia. They all gave willingly and without hesitation! So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every one of you!! We hope to work with you all again in the future!
