Hillary and I love being outside and we love going to new places and we love photographing engagement sessions!! I know what you’re thinking, that’s a lot of loving things going on, and you’re right! But that’s not all, there are several more things we love, like being in the presence of couples who are so happy and in love that before we even ask them to pose for a shot, they naturally come together like two puzzle pieces. This past Sunday afternoon we were blessed with all of these when we met with Isaiah and Megan at Klondike Park in St. Charles County for their engagement session. It was a beautiful evening with just the right amount of clouds, the right amount of wind and most importantly an amazing couple who loved being in each other’s arms.
Isaiah and Megan met a little over five years ago at a church picnic and their relationship quickly grew from a chance meeting, to friends having long conversations, to an official couple, to now, two deeply in love individuals about to exchange vows and become one. We worked around the lake shore finding the best lighting and backdrops for their pictures, and as the sun dropped behind the distant hills, we climbed to the top of an overlook and used the last bit of sun rays giving a beautiful glow as Isaiah gently kissed Megan’s temple. After the sun finally set and we were walking back down the trail, it was clear that as beautiful as the park was and as many places as it offered to photograph in, they all paled in comparison to what these two had between them.
Thank you Isaiah and Megan for letting us be a part of your engagement journey and having so much fun with us! We hope you enjoy this preview of your session as much as we enjoyed capturing it! 🙂
