A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of being part of Fine Linen Theater’s “Happily Ever After” festival here in Rolla, Missouri. This is the second year that Fine Linen Theater has put on this event and it’s definitely one your kids will not want to miss out on next year! Approximately twenty booths were set up with a different fairytale theme. Children of all ages had the joy of running around and meeting their favorite characters. The evening began with a thirty minute performance by the fairytale characters, and I think it’s safe to say the adults found it just as entertaining as the children did!
After the performance, you could build a boat with Moana, get your hair braided by a fairy, build a snowman with Elsa, or sit with Snow White and play with the animals. Merida was there to teach you how to shoot a bow, there was face painting done by the gypsies, or you could even go fishing with Ariel. And so much more!
Fine Linen Theater really outdid themselves by creating a fun and entertaining festival for these kids! We loved photographing the event and seeing the happiness in their faces as they went to all the booths, making crafts and talking with their favorite characters. After the event was over, the kids left with smiles on their faces and their arms full of prizes and crafts from their amazing evening.
If you haven’t heard of Fine Linen Theater before, be sure to check them out! They do live theater throughout the year and have made quite a name for themselves in the community by providing family-friendly entertainment. I grew up being part of Fine Linen Theater from the beginning and can speak from experience that it is an amazing group of people!
So, follow them on Facebook to see updates of what’s happening and to see when their next shows and events are coming up! Or, if you feel like doing something different, audition for a show and enjoy the thrill of performing live in front of the community. 🙂
