Yesterday morning, we ventured out for a family session with my brother and his darling family. They are making the long drive from Florida to Washington where they will make their home for the next three years. It has been such a blast spending time with them over the past several days and catching up on life!
Nathan is a pilot in the Navy and flies the P8 Poseidon. I couldn’t be more proud of all he has accomplished these last few years! He has worked so hard and achieved so much!! My sister-in-law, Hillary, has been an amazing, supportive wife throughout multiple moves and transitions. I don’t know how she’s done it, but super thankful Nathan found such a fantastic wife. And then there’s little Solomon. Always so cute and easily consoled by mom or dad. I may have introduced him to marshmallows and he loved them! A child after my own heart. 😉
We opted for a morning session due to the probability of rain predicted in the afternoon. We didn’t really account for the fact that there would be little wind, which resulted in unpleasant gnats. Only in Missouri, would a morning session be 70 degrees with a humidity that made you sweat and gnats that drove you insane. Still loving the pictures we did get, even though we did have to do a lot of “gnat swatting.” Definitely could’ve done without that. 😉
Nathan and Hillary, thank you so much for spending an hour with us to get pictures!! It means so much that pictures were worth more than the gnats and sweat! Not that you really knew that was part of the deal when we went out. 😉 You guys were incredible and I love each and every one of your pictures! We love you guys so much and can’t wait to come visit you all in Washington! Enjoy your preview! 🙂
